Après s'être lavé les mains, Hu Bayi a aidé son ami, l'oncle Ming, à se rendre en mer de Chine méridionale pour récupérer les perles. Contre toute attente, il a rencontré une épave et a chuté au fond de la mer, mais a découvert par hasard les ruines millénaires d’un ancien pays qui avait coulé au fond de l’océan. Ils ont traversé de nombreuses épreuves et dangers au fond de la mer, et ont finalement uni leurs forces pour vaincre les créatures des profondeurs, avant d’utiliser habilement l’équipement trouvé dans les ruines pour s’échapper.
