Eva Hendrickx est une jeune journaliste ambitieuse qui travaille pour l’équipe de télé du légendaire Herman Verbeeck. Elle est déterminée de boucler un documentaire sur les quartiers chauds de Bruxelles. Alors que la violence se répand dans la ville entière, Eva rencontre Lahbib, un Maroccain avec un passé troublé. Il l’emmène dans son monde rude et complexe. Entretemps, dans le monde compétitive des médias, Herman Verbeeck essaie d’exploiter le documentaire d’Eva.
